The meeting at Trevelyan Hall this evening was attended by about 15 people. Bottom line is that reviving Scouts in Pencaitland — beavers (6 to 8), cub scouts (8 to 10 1/2) and scouts (10 1/2 to 14) all for both boys and girls — needs a support group of parents and/or grandparents or other extended family members willing to give a little time on a regular basis to get this off the ground again.

The Community Council is keen to help this process happen so if you’re interested, email your name and contact details to Scott Burton, local development officer, directly on 07788 42 1160 or development@southeastscotlandscouts.org.uk
