Work with us! Lothian and Borders Police Survey

The Police want to know what your views are on the level of Policing in your local area.

Lothian and Borders Police have just launched a public perception survey which closes on the 30th June 2012.

Options:

The results at Ward level will allow the Force to identify areas for improvement locally, assist Community Policing Teams with their priorities and enable us to monitor the impact of their Community Commitment.

Ian Mackay, the Community Inspector for Haddington, Dunbar and North Berwick says he really appreciates our assistance.

However, it would be really useful if we could get a summary of results by 6 letter postcode or groups of postcodes, rather than the Ward which is very large geographically? I will be asking for that, as Paul Laidlaw of the Tenants and Residents Association has also recommended this.

Perceptions of crime, policing and antisocial behaviour are likely to be very very localised, so I believe we ought to know how others nearby think.
