The Bleachingfield Community Centre Management Committee (Dunbar) wants to gauge interest in a novel project called Immediate News.
This is a pilot in conjunction with the Ourlocality community website publishing platform (a Sustaining Dunbar project).
What is Immediate News?
A video and Internet-based local issues communication tool, for sharing news stories and/or hyperlocal campaigns, fund raisers etc.
It will empower individuals, groups and communities looking to improve their areas and lives, especially where there are pockets of deprivation. Training will be provided, with learned skills boosting self-esteem and transferable to other projects.
