This project aimed to create a vision for better walking, wheeling and cycling infrastructure in the wider Dunbar area. To facilitate more active travel and more sustainable local transport, as well as creating more liveable streets, you need a lot of moving parts to co-ordinate and communicate well.
The lead partner, Sustaining Dunbar created a set of proposals, to be funded under the Places for Everyone programme (delivered by Sustrans Scotland on behalf of Transport Scotland.)
It made sense for the Connecting Dunbar project website to be hosted locally.
