Some of you may have experienced site access issues this afternoon.
The problem only affected site owners with their own domain name.
The site access problem has now been resolved, but after a bit of a delay. The delay was longer than we would have liked, so apologies for that.
What happened? Well our server hosts – the nice people at Bytemark Hosting – performed a system upgrade for us mid afternoon.
During the process an important configuration file was changed, affecting ourlocality sites with their own domain.
Now a clever chap called Steve Kemp who works for Bytemark spotted the problem in no time, once he was on the case.
Nice to know we have good people on our side.
