WordPress Five Point Oh is just a few days away!

Code named Gutenberg, the new “block editor” has been in development for some time now and is poised for full integration into the WordPress ecosystem.
We’re giving you access to the new editor a few days before the official release of WordPress 5.0, which we’ll be rolling out as soon as we can.
For now, the Classic editor will be the default editor, unless you opt for the change.
To test the new editor, activate it via the Dashboard > Plugins > Gutenberg and then go Settings > Reading and make the Block Editor the default Editor.
You’ll still be able to create articles the old way, and you should be able to switch back if you really don’t get on with it or your theme reacts badly.
Block Editors are very powerful, with their ability to create complex layouts, and their ability to apply formatting to discrete elements, but it can get a bit confusing for unwary.
If you want to keep it simple, the Classic Editor will be here to stay for sometime.
But there is no harm in giving the new Block Editor a try.
