Twentig Playground (quick explanation)
Like the WordPress Playground is a temporary WordPress site that runs entirely in your browser. There’s nothing to install and it doesn’t touch your real site at all.
It as a safe as a sandbox:
- You can test settings freely
- Break things, reset, try again
- Close the tab → everything disappears
Crucially: your live site is never affected.
Use it to:
- Preview the theme properly (not just a demo)
- Follow tutorials or experiment without risk
It’s designed for quick validation and learning, even building a real site is possible if you are fast.
What it is not
- Not a staging site
- Not connected to your multisite
- Nothing is saved when you close it
Be prepareed to manually recreate anything you decide to keep that you forgot to save.
Bottom line for users
Use Playground to test ideas safely.
Then apply what works to your real site.
And yes — no need to activate a new theme (and risk breaking things) just to “see what happens”.
