BeGreen Grants are Targeted

Begreen grants are available subject to a full energy audit. Grants supported a range of energy saving measures in households in need. Households with qualifying benefits were the largest single beneficiary.

Qualifying benefits
Guaranteed element of pension credit; Child Tax Credit or working tax credit (where income is less than £17,474); Attendance Allowance; Disability Living Allowance; Employment and Support Allowance; Income Support Allowance; Industrial Injuries disablement benefit which includes a mobility supplement or a constant attendance allowance; War Disablement Pension which includes a mobility supplement or a constant attendance allowance; Housing Benefit; Council Tax Benefit
