Although the surveys did not obtain a great deal of information about car journeys in East Linton, it can be seen that there are a number of very short journeys made by car which could transfer to more sustainable modes such as walking and cycling.
The majority of longer distance car journeys made from East Linton are to destinations such as Dunbar, North Berwick, Haddington and East Linton, which all have regular public transport services.
The information shown has been gathered from the household surveys carried out in 2010. As a rough guide, these results are about 10% of the walking/cycling/car trips taking place each day.
