In this presentation we add the “Hiking” Mapid and an opacity slider. The kml is exported from Google Maps, but isn’t so straightforward to query, so we are probably as well using a geojson.
The map source here is Leaflet, with minimal adverts. Select hiking to show long distance paths.
(Please note: Core Paths … can be anything from a tarmac path to a grassy field margin and this variety is important to provide different experiences for users.)
