Things to be done at Belhaven Community Garden:
- Each morning open poly tunnel
- Each evening close water (if required) and close poly tunnel
- Build raised beds, prepare soil and seed with vegetables.
- Build a long narrow raised bed along wall side of poly tunnel and plant remaining Tomato plants
- Make 18” cardboard skirts for around each fruit tree
- Paint container gray/ green asap
- Prepare and plant inner ring of the sensory garden
- Level paths into the garden area
- Weed the entrance humps of soil (both sides)
- Collect and plant wildflower plugs for the wildflower areas.
- Collect plastic bottles for the bottle green house at Dunbar Primary School
