New trains to Musselburgh

RAGES (Rail Action Group East of Scotland) reports the good news that all ScotRail trains to and from Dunbar will stop at Musselburgh when the new timetable is implemented on May 22 2011.

As well as give students attending the Queen Margaret University the option to travel by rail from the east side of the county, it provides more opportunities for students travelling from Edinburgh.

It costs over £20 more to fill a family car than it did just two years ago!

That same person you see driving the long and winding road to work every day might be your ideal car-sharer… they just need to know aboutliftshare! Another 64,000 people joined the liftshare network last year alone. Why not take a look to see if it would work for you?

PlusBus in Edinburgh from £2

PlusBus LinkDid you know that when you buy your train ticket to Edinburgh you can add on city-wide bus travel for £3? This is the same price as LRT’s DAYticket and First’s FirstDay ticket, but allows you to choose to travel with either company, or any of the smaller Edinburgh bus operators. And if you are a railcard holder you can buy it for only £2, which is cheaper than either of the day saver tickets. Bargain!
PlusBus is available for other cities too, but you have to specify which one when you buy it.
