Managed retreat @thorntonloch

The natural coastal defences are hemmed in by the powerstation and arable fields, meanwhile the ad hoc defences created for the caravan park in the last century are at their "end of life" and will be much more expensive to repair than predicted £100k. It is time to accept that the coast is eroding faster than it is accreting and nature based solution require. A new location for the park is called for (less exposed and properly screened) and nature allowed to do its thing. This may also mean losing the agricultural fields to the north and south of the existing caravan park. New paths can be created too, as these have also been lost on the south side towards Bilsdean.
