DAFTAs 2015 Results

On Saturday 20th June more than 80 people came along to Hallhill to walk the DAFTAs red carpet, watch the shortlisted films and vote for their favourites.

The competition has really grown with twice as many films entered as last year.  There were twelve entries in 3 different age categories and the standard of all the entires was very high.

And the winners were…

Under 12s

Angus and Jemima’s French Adventure by Ellen Stewart, Ruaridh Page and Cameron West.  Two OAPs (played by 9 year olds) head off for a holiday in Paris.  Watch it here.

Simple Things  by Alan Hunter.  A wonderful tour of the East Lothian coastline filmed from a remote controlled drone and set to music.  Watch it here.

All the winners were presented with DAFTA clapperboard trophies and free sessions on the Foxfall Ropes Course at Foxlake Dunbar donated by Foxlake Adventures.
