A date for your diary! You are warmly invited to attend the opening of our Parklet and Saloo Bed.
What: Official opening with refreshments, fun activities and music
When: Saturday 26 August from 2pm
Where: Lindores Drive, just along from the Fraser Centre
Here at the Wombles, we’re buzzing about this opening! With the stumps now well-trodden, the bench and arbour in place and the planting pushing through, it’s a good time to celebrate and thank everyone involved. The Gala Queen and her Consort will be cutting the ribbons at 2.30pm. There’ll be a chance to picnic on the grass (bring your own piece), meet a Womble and stay with us for fun activities, music and light refreshments.
The planting has been a huge collective effort and the Wombles would like to thank the kids and organisations from across the community, who all got stuck in helping to make it happen.
