Reopen culverted stream that drains via Eweford farm

Reopening this culverted stream would be a measure that helps attenuate flooding, alongside measures in the upper reaches to plant woodland. The water that runs through the tiny valley is culverted around Bourhouse and then runs under the A1 , across Eweford farm, then under hospital road and under the mainline railway by way of Belhaven Community Hospital, zig zagging through the Monk's croft before crossing the Edinburgh Rd and into the Caravan Park. The stream would be buffered and intermediate wetlands created to accomodate flood water and create habitat. Wetland creation north of the A1 might be possible and necessary too.
