The drop in workshop has been well used, by some familiar faces and others who have a particular issue to resolve. Sessions currently run Wed and Fri mornings 10-13.00. Check the Bike Hub for latest times

Donated Bikes  We have had more bikes donated. Thanks to individuals and Sandy Craig from Dunbar Budget bikes. Many of the people that receive bikes are subject to safeguarding restrictions but we do have a number  of photos of grateful recipients

Cycle Training People are welcome to undertake free training which can improve confidence and skills. Not just for young people.

Partnership working Bikehub has been working with other organisations:

East Lothian Horizons The organisation has been supporting refugee families settle in Dunbar. We now have a further two young adults in Dunbar’s cycling community. 

The Ridge  We have donated four more bikes to the Ridge and had folk coming to the Hub learning bike maintenance skills. Access Bikes Programme. The delivery of 15 bikes that will go to people identified by The Ridge is imminent. The scheme is funded by Cycling UK. We aim to provide comprehensive support to those new or returning cyclists. There will be a fortnightly, open to all, community cycle ride, organised by The Ridge. First ride Friday May 17th

Workshops Over the spring and summer we are holding a series of Bike Maintenance workshops in conjunction with West Barns Village Hall, St Anne’s and Belhaven Churches. 

Volunteers We welcome volunteers at the Bike . Fixing donated bikes.

We also have Sustaining Dunbar’s trailers and Brompton folding bike stored at the container. bikehub@sustainingdunbar.org for more info.
