Following on from the successful bike sale at Dunbar Primary School Fair in June, the Parent Council is holding another sale at the “Gathering In” festival on 31st October. Set your price and bring your bike along to Hallhill. We will look after it until the end of the day, and if it sells we ask that you make a donation of £5 to Parent Council funds to support activities at Dunbar Primary School.

New website for local cycle routes
Cycling is a great way to get out and about and keep fit. Something the whole family can enjoy. If you are looking for a new cycle route, bike ride, or single track, try www.cycle-route.com for ideas.
20s Plenty for Dunbar
Lowering speed limits from 30mph to 20 mph decreases pedestrian accidents, reduces emissions, and makes for quieter, pleasanter neighbourhoods. Crucially for Dunbar, fast cars makes the roads feel unsafe for young cyclists, encouraging them to ride on the pavements. 20s Plenty for Dunbar wants to create a town where all cyclists will feel safe on the roads.
You can add your voice to the campaign for lower speeds by joining the Facebook group 20s Plenty for Dunbar. (For more information and statistics see www.20splentyforus.org.uk )
