The Co-operative is asking customers to take a pledge – to become food waste superheroes with Captain Core at special in-store events on Wednesdays but you can also do it\u00a0online<\/a>\u00a0(there’s a prize if you enter).<\/p>\n
Pick up your pledge card and make a difference, for the average UK family throws away around \u00a3470 worth of food every year.<\/p>\n
