Following on from the well-attended networking event for community gardeners at The Lost Garden of Penicuik in June, The Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens and Edinburgh and Lothian Greenspace Trust are organising a day of visits to a couple of garden projects in East Lothian. It is always helpful and inspiring to hear about other projects and there will be a chance to meet, talk with and share information with others as the day progresses.

The visits will be happening on Wednesday 2nd October from 10 a.m. till about 3.30 p.m. In the morning they will be visiting Amisfield Walled Garden near Haddington and in the afternoon they will visit Belhaven Community Garden and other growing projects in Dunbar.

In order to keep costs down, they are asking everyone to bring their own lunch, and are trying to organise car-sharing. Teas and coffees will be provided.  If you would like to attend, please register here go to the registration page to sign up.
