Olsen Renewables flagship onshore renewable project and is located between Dunbar in East Lothian and Duns in the Scottish Borders. The wind farm commenced operation in 2003 and by 2025 will generate over 260MV of clean, green electricity \u2013 capable of powering over 200,000 homes. The Crystal Rig solar project will generate an additional 27.5MW of green energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crystal Rig Phase IV:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>11 turbines up to 200m, 42MW<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scoping submitted 2018<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project consented 2021<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Construction commences Q3 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Route to site will be A1 to Innerwick Junction then south to site entrance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Is a natural expansion of the existing site<br>Utilising existing infrastructure where possible<br>\u00a35,000 community benefit per MW installed, more than \u00a38m over project lifetime<br>Crystal Rig has provided more than \u00a32M in community benefit funding to the local area over the last 20 year<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>Crystal Rig Solar:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fred. Olsen Renewables has launched proposals to create a solar farm at Crystal Rig Wind Farm.
