Transport, traffic and parking<\/span> \u2013 This has been identified\u00a0as an important local issue with concerns ranging across\u00a0public transport coverage, cost, reliability and\u00a0synchronisation, congestion, traffic control and parking\u00a0in local high streets and improving pedestrian and cycle\u00a0routes to the town centre, particularly from villages Social isolation<\/span> \u2013 Seen as a growing problem in the\u00a0area, particularly for elderly people, many in the\u00a0Partnership have highlighted of a lack of social and\u00a0recreational opportunities for older people and\u00a0difficulties for carers to get the support\/respite they\u00a0need as key issues.<\/p>\n Localising services<\/span> – With over 1\/3 of the ward\u2019s\u00a0population living in villages and rural areas already\u00a0discussions are moving towards developing creative\u00a0solutions for sustaining local businesses and promoting\u00a0community stewardship of local assets.<\/p>\n Who is representing Dunbar\u00a0and East Linton?
