The new station is disability compliant, but note that is only within the curtilage of the station.

A new footbridge crosses the railway, incorporating lift shafts and stairs on either side.

Tourist Information

The Mart is an intriguing hexagonal timber structure, over 150 years old, the only remaining one in Scotland. Set up in 1850 by agricultural pioneer Thomas Mitchell Innes it now hosts occasional craft markets and one off events.
