The competition is free to enter and is open to everyone. Whether you are young or old,\u00a0a budding film maker, have something important to say or just want to do something\u00a0creative with your digital camera we would like to hear from you.<\/p>\n
Your film can be on any subject and in any genre, it can be documentary or fiction, it can\u00a0be live action or animation. You can film it on a camera, a tablet or even on your phone. The only\u00a0restriction is that it has to be between 2 and 5 minutes long.<\/p>\n
The deadline for entries is midnight Saturday 10th June<\/span><\/p>\n The entries will be judged in three age categories: under 12, 12 \u2013 16 years and over 16.\u00a0\u00a0This year we are also introducing a Documentary category (all ages) and a Collaboration\u00a0category where adults have had a substantial input in the creation of the film such as a\u00a0teacher working with a class of pupils or a parent\/carer working with children.<\/p>\n All the shortlisted films will be screened on Sunday 18 June\u00a0as part of a special film\u00a0event during Dunbar Civic Week and the final winners in each category will be\u00a0announced. \u00a0The winners will each receive a DAFTA (Dunbar Amazing Film Talent Award) trophy and\u00a0the winning films will be screened again later in the year as part of Dunbar Film\u2019s regular\u00a0programme.<\/p>\n How to enter.<\/a><\/p>\n Competition rules.<\/a><\/p>\n Watch entries from previous years:<\/p>\n 2016<\/a><\/p>\n 2015<\/a><\/p>\n 2014\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n \n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The competition is free to enter and is open to everyone.
