New banner!

Dunbar Fairtrade Group are the proud owners of a new banner in the Fairtrade colours and featuring the Fairtrade Town symbol.

The banner will make its first appearance decorating the group’s stall at the Dunbar Christmas Lights Fair on Sunday 16 November. A selection of Fairtrade goods will be on sale and Fairtrade literature will be available.

Pippa Swan of Dunbar Shore and Harbour Group kindly helped to design the banner. Now plans are afoot for a second, larger banner, to advertise Fairtrade Fortnight next spring.

Dunbar won Fairtrade Town status in 2012 and now has 39 businesses, schools, community groupsIMG_7513_1 and other organisations promoting Fairtrade in some way. For a list, see the group’s website, https://ourlocality.org/dunbarfairtrade.
