The last visit to East Linton was fun, regardless of the Sleet and Snow!

Dr Bikes are next in East Linton this Sunday 14/4/2013 14:00 – 17:00. It is free and all are welcome.

EastLintonVillageHallThe last time the Dr Bikes were in East Linton we had a great time meeting some cycle enthusiasts and Mr David Gray has kindly commented “Found the first session very helpful and a good building block.  Covered the “M” check – which takes in the whole bike – and looking forward to the next steps including replacing a spoke.”

There is nothing more unsafe when on a cycle tour and a spoke goes! You could be stuck in the middle of nowhere, thinking…I wish I knew how!

This is a chance to find out hands on.

Sustaining Dunbar run free basic bike maintenance courses that enable you to feel more confident riding your bike. By giving your bike a safety check you can make sure your bike is roadworthy. You will learn how to do basic road/trail side repairs; change a tube/ mend a puncture and make basic adjustments to gears and brakes. Just join up to the Household Canny Project and you can get free instruction. The classes have two enthusiastic tutors, Dan Waters and Mark James and have a learn by doing focus.

Just bring along your bike to the Community Hall in East Linton.
