We formed an Umbrella Team ( aka Eco Committee) in October 2011 as our first step towards becoming an Ecologically Healthy School and to apply and prepare for our Green Flag Award. Our Umbrella Team is in charge of facilitating our school forum to carry out annual environmental reviews and action plans. Our Umbrella Team is made up of representatives from all school groups and years and works to co-ordinating our schools ecology activities relating to all of the ten topics.
Pupil participation is a crucial element. Pupil representatives have volunteered themselves to represent the whole school. Our Umbrella Team also represent the views of the wider, local community as well as the whole school with teacher and parent representatives.
