Sustainability

Sustaining our World
Dunbar Primary School aims to establish a relationship between local environmental quality issues (such as litter) and global environmental quality issues (such as climate change).

Dunbar Primary School is an Eco School and this gives us an opportunity to be part of an international network to discuss and debate global environmental issues which will affect their lives.

Being an Eco-School helps us to assess the evidence and make up our own minds on issues such as climate change and its severity, trade, capitalism and macro-economic policy and the way they can affect the environment.

Eco-Schools exists to allow pupils to make calm, informed choices with knowledge and certainty about their social, economic and environmental consequences.
