ACTIONS UPDATE AND PROGRESS REPORT.

Priority Actions to be Undertaken Person responsible.
Speeding on Brodie Road, Dunbar Conduct hand held speed gun enforcement on Brodie Road following reports of increases in speeding traffic. Dunbar Community Policing Team.
Parking on double yellow lines, Countess Road New double yellow lines will be painted on Countess Road in the very near future.  Conduct enforcement once they are done. Dunbar Community Policing Team
Anti Social Behaviour and Vandalism at East Linton Park Patrol and identify youths using the park and the toilets following reports of vandalism. Dunbar Community Policing Team

Update on priorities:

Speeding on Brodie Road, Dunbar

On 31st August and 1st September speed checks were conducted on Brodie Road.  A number of fixed penalty tickets were issued, one driver reported to the procurator fiscal for speeding, one driver reported for dangerous driving due to being over double the speed limit and one vehicle seized due to no insurance.

Parking on double yellow lines, Countess Road

Area patrolled on a number of occasions, no offences detected.

Anti Social Behaviour and Vandalism at East Linton Park

Area patrolled on a number of occasions.  No youths traced who are suspected of involvement in the incidents, no reports of any further incidents.

Other ongoing policing issues:

Further complaints about speeding at Tyninghame on A198 and Brodie Road.

Issues regarding young teenagers drinking and “buzzing gas”.
