Oh so many prizes!

Nursery

Everyone that takes part will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a boat trip around the Bass Rock on the SulaII.

If a nursery pupil raises £10 or more they will be entered into a draw for the chance to win a micro scooter from Belhaven Bikes.

The nursery class that reads the most books (calculated per pupil) will get an Enjoy-a-ball party for the class.  There is one party for the am class that reads the most and another for the pm class that reads the most!

School

All P1-7 pupils that take part and read a minimum of 3 hours (P1-2) and 5 hours (P3-7) will be entered into a draw for the chance to win one of 2 £100 amazon vouchers.

All pupils that raise £10 or more will be entered into another draw for the chance to win one of 2 £100 amazon vouchers.

Additionally there will be a pizza party for the class in each year that reads the most hours per pupil.

Top readers will be invited to library party with Belhaven Fruit Farm Ices and be entered into yet another prize draw for the chance to win free surfing lessons from Coast2Coast Surf School.

Whole School

After the Read-a-thon ends pupils will have 2 weeks to bring in their envelopes with their reading details and any money raised.  Every day for those 2 weeks we will draw 10 names  from the entries received that day.  These pupils will win a book!

We really want everyone to take part and try to make reading a bigger part of their lives.  Last year we had just over 50% participation – this year we are aiming for over 60%!
