Coastal Erosion Workshop

The Forth Estuary Forum has pleasure in inviting you to an evening
workshop on
‘Coastal Erosion in the Forth’.
The evening will start with a buffet followed by a welcome and
introduction from Dr. Christopher Cutts, Forum Manager.
Three presentations will follow from:
Prof. Robert Duck, Dean of the School of Environment at the University of
Dundee and an expert in Shoreline Management Plans;
Dr. Christopher Thomas, British Geological Survey, an expert on the
rela-tionship between geology and sediment systems;
Prof. Jim Hansom, Reader in Geography at the University of Glasgow and an
expert in coastal processes and management.
Following the presentations, there will be an interactive Q&A with the
invited speakers and other invited experts. The proceedings will be
written up and published on the Forum website and circulated to attendees.
