time to catch up with another Fairtrade meeting, with the wonderful success of our Fairtrade coffee morning to inspire us while we think about future plans.

What a fantastic event, over 150 people popped in to eat, drink and socialise over a Fairtrade cuppa! There was a raffle with over 15 prizes given out and music from Coll and Lewis that put a spring in our step.
There were lots of Fairtrade posters and leaflets on hand to help provide information and [...]

John Muir Birthplace Children’s workshop about Fairtrade is:

Friday 8th March 2.30-4pm Fairtrade - stories, games and crafts suitable for primary school children.

Booking in advance essential call 01368 865899 cost £3.50 (£3.50 each for first 2 children in a family group and £3 each thereafter)

Fairtrade Fortnight this year is from 25th Feb to 10th March, all over the country folks in  villages, towns and cities will be having fun, holding events and raising awareness of Fairtrade issues.
Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.

Grant awarded
Hello to all our supporters,
East Lothian council has awarded Dunbar Fairtrade Group a grant to have made special window stickers that promote Dunbar as a Fairtrade Town.
These can then be given out to community groups, businesses and public buildings that support Fairtrade in our community.
It’s a wonderful way to raise awareness in the community [...]
