It was a great turnout for the lights switch on, even though there was drizzle, a grand crowd accompanied the countdown and what a festive cheer from everyone.
Fairtrade choccy was tasted at the crunchy carrot and the market stalls, shops and cafes had many goodies on offer.
Altogether a great night.
