We can report that the Pipe Band day market was a huge success. We’ve received a range of positive feedback that we will add to this website in the coming days. We’d also like to hear any feedback from people who browsed the stalls in the market tent – just add your thoughts to the bottom of this post.
We’ll be announcing the winner or winners of the £100 note competition from Pipe Band day (assuming the winners don’t mind being named).
We’ll also be giving updates about the forthcoming Civic Week market.

We’re incredibly grateful for their support. We’re also sorry that it has taken us so long to voice this support on this website. We’re madly tidying up loose ends from Pipe Band day while spearheading our plans for a street market during Civic Week.
We’d also like to extend our thanks to Hallhill for inviting us to run a market on Pipe Band day and supporting us.
The Dunbar, Arts, Crafts and Produce market will be running from 8am until 5pm. We’ll be in a tent with lots of stuff that you’ll hopefully want to buy. The post below this one has a list of the stalls that will be present on the day – the list isn’t the final one but keep checking back if you’re looking for an update.
We’ll also be having a tombola and other fund raising stuff so pop over to our stall.
And of course check out the pipe bands that will be strutting their stuff all day. You also might want to visit the Hallhill bar so that you’ve got something to drink while watching them.

Hi and welcome to the Dunbar Arts, Crafts and Produce Market website!
Following the tremendous success of the Christmas Market last year we’re planning more markets for this year (woo!).
The first of these will be down at Hallhill on Pipe Band Day – which is on the 14th of May. We’re then hoping to hold another one – this time on the High Street – during Civic Week. The aim is to grow the markets organically – last year we had 1 market, this year we’ll have a few more, with the aim that in the future a market will take place every month!
As with all these types of things – we need YOUR HELP. We need volunteers to help make these markets happen. Basically we’re looking for people to help share the workload. If you’re interested and more importantly willing then we meet weekly at 6pm at Hallhill. It would be good to see you there!
So I think that’s about it for now. This website will be built on and expanded when I have the time. So while there isn’t much here right now you can expect more posts, dates, comments, pictures, videos and so on to be added in due course.
