Welcome to the Canberra Primary School Parent Council Website

Canberra Primary School is a non-denominational primary school in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire

Parent Councils are the representative body for parents and have the following role:

Support the school in its work with pupils
Represent the views of all parents
Encourage links between the school, parents, pupils, pre-school groups and the wider community
Report back to all the parents in the school
Play a role in the appointment of headteachers and depute headteachers
Support the school and pupils during school inspections

Parent Council meetings are open to all parents and we have set-up this website to aid in the communication parents/carers. The site includes a record of all Parent Council activities, dates of forthcoming activities and links to information about the school.
